We are people who LOVE God. Those who understand the importance of prayer and reading God’s word and are committed to growing in our understanding of Him.
We are committed to being people who LIVE for God. This means people are equipped and encouraged to strengthen their families, their church and their community.
We want to be people who SERVE God. We are seeking to understand our spiritual gifts and identify our passions and how we can use those to serve at church and in our community.
Our Purpose
The Great Commandment & The Great Commission
At Caloundra Church of Christ we are focused on the Great Commandment and the Great Commission.
Mark 12:28-34 declares that the greatest commandment is LOVE. “You must love him (God) with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength.” and “Love others as much as you love yourself.”
In Matthew 28:16-20 we are given our commission. “Go to the people of all nations and make them my disciples. Baptize them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit”

We are committed to applying The Word to daily life and we’re intentional about discipleship and growing towards Christian maturity. We encourage opportunities for fellowship and real bible community while equipping people for service by developing their spiritual gifts. Our Team
Peter Willis
Peter & Vicki Willis joined the ministry team in 2018.
Peter has ministered at three different churches and been a full time Army Chaplain in his 34 years of ministry. They have three adult children and two awesome Samoyed dogs. Vicki works for a mental health organisation and is enjoying the flexibility of working from home on most days.
Peter is the Lead Minister at the Church and he is passionate about helping others to learn what it means to live out the Great Commandment and the Great Commission in our day.

Julie Thomson
After many years teaching throughout Queensland, Julie followed a clear call from the Holy Spirit to work for Him as the Worship Co-Ordinator at Caloundra Church of Christ.
Having made a decision to follow Christ from an early age, Julie has always loved singing and particularly enjoyed being part of worship teams.
Her desire is that our church family wholeheartedly worships the Almighty God during church services and that each person continues to know the joy of the Lord in their daily life.
Deanne Willis
Deanne has recently been appointed as the Connection and Care Coordinator in the vibrant life of our church community.
It is Deanne’s great joy and privilege to love God, and to love people. Deanne has two-years Bible College training and plenty of real life experience. Deanne has a passion to help people know they are important in, and to, the family of God.
She operates out of the belief that we are all, perhaps, a little broken, and that in the joy of Christian love, we get to walk each other home. Deanne knows that God walks with us, and that His goodness and mercy have followed her all the days of her life.
