Who We Are
Our Focus
Simply put – our focus is the Great Commandment and the Great Commission
Mark 12:28-34 declares that the greatest commandment is LOVE. “Jesus answered, “The most important one says: ‘People of Israel, you have only one Lord and God. You must love him with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength.’ The second most important commandment says: ‘Love others as much as you love yourself.’ No other commandment is more important than these.” [CEV]
In Matthew 28:16-20 we are given our commission. “Go to the people of all nations and make them my disciples. Baptize them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and teach them to do everything I have told you. I will be with you always, even until the end of the world.” [CEV]

Our Team
Peter Willis
Peter & Vicki Willis joined the ministry team in 2018.
Peter has ministered at three different churches and been a full time Army Chaplain in his 34 years of ministry. They have three adult children and two awesome Samoyed dogs. Vicki works for a mental health organisation and is enjoying the flexibility of working from home on most days.
Peter is the Lead Minister at the Church and he is passionate about helping others to learn what it means to live out the Great Commandment and the Great Commission in our day.

Andy Monro
Andy & Sharon recently joined the ministry team at Caloundra Church of Christ.
Andy has been involved with a number of churches and Christian organisations in both Queensland and Victoria, and has a passion to see the church grow in it’s love and knowledge of the Word of God.
Andy’s desire to serve God has recently seen him join the ministry team after a long career in health, education and emergency services, making his passion his career. Andy’s wife Sharon is a wonderful stay-at-home mum to their 3 amazing children.
Andy is the Assistant Minister at the Church, with a focus on Youth and Young Families.

Julie Thomson
After many years teaching throughout Queensland, Julie followed a clear call from the Holy Spirit to work for Him as the Worship Co-Ordinator at Caloundra Church of Christ.
Having made a decision to follow Christ from an early age, Julie has always loved singing and particularly enjoyed being part of worship teams.
Her desire is that our church family wholeheartedly worships the Almighty God during church services and that each person continues to know the joy of the Lord in their daily life.
Deanne Willis
Deanne has recently been appointed as the Connection and Care Coordinator in the vibrant life of our church community.
It is Deanne’s great joy and privilege to love God, and to love people. Deanne has two-years Bible College training and plenty of real life experience. Deanne has a passion to help people know they are important in, and to, the family of God.
She operates out of the belief that we are all, perhaps, a little broken, and that in the joy of Christian love, we get to walk each other home. Deanne knows that God walks with us, and that His goodness and mercy have followed her all the days of her life.
